Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 112 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,681 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $13,039 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,965 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted downward. If you plan to sell later, holding onto a well-kept example with strong service records will matter more when the market is moving this way. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a sensible choice if you want a used Audi A4 with a lower average price and a decent share of deal-priced listings. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
