Is the 2015 Subaru Impreza a good car?

Generally — the 4/5 user rating points to a well-liked used compact car, and the overview backs that up with a practical formula built around standard all-wheel drive, a sedan or hatchback body style, and improved fuel economy. You also get a mid-cycle refresh with updated styling, a standard rear-view camera, and a newer infotainment system, which helps the 2015 model feel more modern than earlier versions. • Deal availability: 23.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 76 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.56% compared with last year.

The current average of $10,899 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,540 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, but it can also mean future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. The good news is that a model with standard all-wheel drive and broad everyday appeal can still attract steady interest from shoppers who want practical capability. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and price it in line with the market, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 23.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, updated features, and standard all-wheel drive, the 2015 is the year to focus on. It makes the most sense as the primary choice if you want a more modern-feeling Impreza without stretching your budget too far. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby older year may be worth considering, but the 2015 offers a better balance of equipment and market value for most shoppers.
