Is the 2015 Nissan Murano a good car?

Generally — the 4.44/5 user rating suggests you’re looking at a well-liked used SUV. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, stylish design, and spacious interior, and many also value its performance and value for money. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a comfort-focused midsize SUV with a more upscale feel and family-friendly practicality. With 21.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.44/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable in day-to-day use, with comfort and value helping it stay appealing over time. At the same time, some owners mention CVT transmission durability concerns, so you should pay close attention to service history and how the transmission behaves on a test drive. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable, but only if you verify maintenance carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Nissan Murano?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 21.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 112 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,355 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $11,479 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,226 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Murano more attractive to you as a buyer today but less favourable if you’re thinking about future resale gains. If you buy at the right price, you may have less depreciation left to absorb than someone who bought earlier in the cycle. The model’s comfort-first appeal and broad family use case should help keep demand steady, but the softer pricing trend means future sellers may need to stay competitive.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.44/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 21.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.44/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want the third-generation Murano’s comfort-first character, stylish design, and strong owner approval at a softened price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still be worth comparing, but the 2015 is the better pick when you want a well-liked, well-equipped used SUV and can find one near the lower end of the market.
