Yes — the 2015 Mazda CX-5 earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its good looks, comfort, and strong performance, and many also like its fuel economy and handling. That makes it a good fit if you want a compact SUV that feels more polished and enjoyable on the road than many mainstream alternatives. Is the 2015 Mazda CX-5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable in day-to-day use, with praise for comfort, fuel economy, and overall ownership experience. At the same time, the model’s reputation is not spotless, so you should pay close attention to maintenance records and the condition of wear items before buying. For used shoppers, that means the long-term ownership risk is manageable if you choose carefully, but it is still worth being selective.

What is the 2015 Mazda CX-5's resale value?

The current average of $12,158 CAD sits slightly below last year's $12,737 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become a bit more accessible for buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command a premium unless the vehicle is especially clean and well maintained. If you buy at the right price and keep the CX-5 in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Mazda CX-5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want the CX-5’s appealing mix of style, comfort, and driving enjoyment at a price that has eased a bit. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is still worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a cleaner or better-equipped example offers stronger value for your budget.
