Is the 2015 Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Honda Pilot earns a 4.83/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise the spacious interior, smooth ride, and family-friendly practicality, and the Pilot’s roomy three-row layout makes it a sensible choice if you need everyday versatility for passengers and cargo. It also fits well if you want a straightforward SUV with useful features and a reputation for solid long-term value. With 30.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some attractive market availability.

Is the 2015 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, especially those who value a vehicle they can count on for family duties. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition, since long-term ownership risk is always tied to how well the vehicle was cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Honda Pilot?

The market looks moderately favourable if you are a selective buyer who is willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 112 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.45% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,315 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $14,140 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,129 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a double-edged sword for future resale. On one hand, it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point today. On the other, it suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, so future resale gains may be more modest unless you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition. The Pilot’s broad family appeal and practical layout should still help support demand among used shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a roomy, practical three-row SUV and you find a well-priced 2015, it is a sensible buy for family use. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price rather than chasing the badge alone.
