I love the interior and exterior design of the car and the added amenities such as the feature that allows me to start the car from inside. I feel that it’s an economy little luxury car. The only other thing that I would want would be a sunroof top.

|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $13,597 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $13,414 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $14,707 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $14,644 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −7.15% |
Prices have softened 7.15% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 78 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.
Is the 2015 Honda Accord a good car?
Yes — you’re looking at a 4.8/5 user-rated car with an 8.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.
Drivers consistently praise its reliability, smooth driving experience, and fuel efficiency, and many also see it as a strong value for the price. It’s especially appealing if you want a family sedan or a first car that feels well rounded and easy to live with. The Accord’s broad competence and everyday practicality fit that use case well.
There are 28.2% good or great deals in the market, which is a solid sign that you can still find worthwhile listings.
Is the 2015 Honda Accord reliable?
Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
User feedback repeatedly points to reliability, and the car is also described as dependable, with owners appreciating that it feels like a vehicle you can count on over time. The expert assessment reinforces that view by describing it as exceptionally well engineered and likely to provide dependable service day in and day out for many years.
It also benefits from strong cost-effectiveness language in the expert review, including the note that it doesn’t cost much to own and operate because it is fuel-efficient and quite reliable.
For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that some reliability perceptions are affected by complaints about the touchscreen infotainment system rather than the car’s core mechanical durability.
What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Honda Accord?
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The base LX is not too basic, with heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, text-messaging support, a rear-view camera, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Sport adds a small bump in power, paddle shifters, a firmer suspension, and unique 18-inch aluminium wheels. The EX-L brings more luxurious equipment, and the Touring sits above it with V6 availability.
- Powertrain: You can find a four-cylinder, a V6, or a gas-electric hybrid in the broader Accord lineup. The four-cylinder is smooth and refined, while the V6 is the stronger choice for buyers who want more thrust. The CVT helps deliver power smoothly, and Eco mode is aimed at maximising fuel economy.
- Safety package: Honda’s LaneWatch blind-spot monitoring, automatic collision notification, lane-departure warning, and forward-collision warning are only offered on higher trims. A rear-view camera is standard on every 2015 Accord.
- Infotainment: The Sport trim includes Bluetooth connectivity, a hands-free text-messaging assistant, a USB port, and an auxiliary input jack. Navigation, satellite radio, HondaLink services, and adaptive cruise control require moving up to a higher trim.
- Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada estimates around 9.0 L/100 km in the city and 6.7 L/100 km on the highway for the four-cylinder test vehicle. The expert review also notes an average of 8.8 L/100 km in city-heavy driving.
Which 2015 Honda Accord trim should I buy?
The 2015 Honda Accord is offered in 4 trim levels: LX, Sport, EX-L and Touring.
Here's the short version:
- LX: This is the value-focused choice if you want the Accord’s core strengths without paying for extras. It already includes heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, text-messaging support, a rear-view camera, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
- Sport: This is the best-value trim if you want a more engaging drive. It adds a small power bump, paddle shifters, a firmer suspension, and unique 18-inch aluminium wheels, but it still keeps the feature set relatively lean.
- EX-L: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and are willing to move up for more equipment. It can also be upgraded with the V6 engine and includes standard heated rear seats.
- Touring: This is the top-end choice if you want the V6 and the most premium version of the Accord lineup.
Honda’s safety and driver-assistance features are packaged on higher trims, so you may need to step up if those systems matter to you.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Honda Accord?
This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without rushing.
- Deal availability: 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 78 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 7.15% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $13,414 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Honda Accord's resale value?
The current average of $13,597 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,644 CAD.
That softer pricing trend suggests the Accord has become more accessible for used buyers, which can make it easier for a future seller to attract interest if the car is well kept. At the same time, the lower current average means resale expectations should be realistic rather than optimistic.
Because the Accord is still viewed as reliable, fuel-efficient, and good value, it should continue to appeal to shoppers who prioritise long-term ownership confidence. That kind of reputation helps support demand when you eventually decide to sell.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2015 Honda Accord safe?
The 2015 Accord earns a five-star overall crash-test rating from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.
It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.
Honda’s standard rear-view camera is included on every 2015 Accord, but several of the more advanced driver-assistance features are reserved for higher trims. Those include LaneWatch blind-spot monitoring, automatic collision notification, lane-departure warning, and forward-collision warning.
A key caveat is that Honda’s packaging strategy limits access to some safety equipment unless you move up the trim ladder.
Should I buy a 2015 Honda Accord or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 7.15% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
- The 2015 stands out for its exceptionally well-engineered, dependable character and broad everyday competence.
Consider the 2016 if:
- At $15,048 CAD, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $13,597 CAD average.
- Honda made several improvements that made an already popular family sedan better.
The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2015 is the smarter buy because it combines strong owner satisfaction with softer pricing. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer model with incremental improvements, the 2016 is the secondary path.
