What is the 2017 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $17,413 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,693 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if prices stay under pressure. The year-round range suggests there is still room for values to move within a fairly tight band, which can help limit extreme swings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $15,048 CAD, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $17,413 CAD average.
• It improves on the Accord with useful updates while staying broadly sensible.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,025 CAD, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $17,413 CAD average.
• It adds a more engaging driving character and a more polished overall experience.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of value, comfort, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is lower purchase price, the 2016 is the smarter budget-focused alternative; if you want a newer-feeling drive and can spend more, the 2018 is worth a look.
