This is my third Dodge Journey I have owned. I have had a great experience driving a Journey over the years and I can't complain. It offers good handling, smooth driving on the highway, never any problem keeping up with or passing traffic. I am not getting as good mileage as I did on my previous Journey. I am hoping as it gets built in, the gasoline might go a little further. The vehicle has lots of storage space but I got this one with a back seat which requires it be put down to make for more storage room in the back..No big problem. I stayed with the V6 engine as I have had good luck with it previously. Although the 4 cylinder has the same HP as I had in my old 2000 Dodge Caravan, the Journey weighs in a bit more and I figure it needs the larger engine. Also I tow a small RV and the extra power is nice.

The 2015 Journey has all the right options. The storage room is great with the bins behind the front seats and the compartment under the cushion of the passenger seat. The heated steering wheel and heated seats are wonderful especially when combined with the remote start. Overall a great vehicle for the money with loads of great options.

How much does the 2015 Dodge Journey cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $8,132 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $8,132 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $9,899 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $9,911 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −17.95% |
Prices have softened 17.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 216 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for shoppers comparing options.
Is the 2015 Dodge Journey a good car?
Yes — owners rate it 4.5/5, which points to strong overall satisfaction. The review summary highlights value for money, spaciousness, comfort features like heated seats, smooth driving, and ample storage as recurring positives. With 20.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of attractive options to consider.
Is the 2015 Dodge Journey reliable?
Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The review summary also points to a vehicle that many owners find dependable enough to appreciate over time, especially when value, comfort, and everyday usability matter most. At the same time, some shoppers should pay close attention to engine condition and maintenance history, since those are the areas that can affect long-term ownership risk for used buyers.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Dodge Journey?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.
- Deal availability: 20.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 216 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 17.95% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $8,132 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Dodge Journey's resale value?
The current average of $8,132 CAD sits slightly below last year's $9,911 CAD.
That price movement suggests the market has become more buyer-friendly, which can make future resale a little more challenging if you buy at the wrong point in the range. If you plan to sell later, paying closer to the lower end of the market today can help protect your position. Strong owner satisfaction can also support demand when it is time to move on.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2015 Dodge Journey or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 20.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 17.95% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2015 is a sensible choice if you want a used SUV with strong owner satisfaction, a lower current average price, and enough inventory to compare several examples. If you are especially price-sensitive, focus on listings near the low end of the range and prioritise condition and maintenance history over small differences in asking price.
