For long-term ownership, that means you should prioritise well-maintained examples with clear records.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Dodge Journey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Inventory: There are 190 listings available.

What is the 2015 Dodge Journey's resale value?

The current average of $8,303 CAD sits slightly below last year's $9,127 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale. On one hand, it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point today. On the other, it suggests the model has faced some downward pressure, which can limit how quickly value rebounds if you sell later. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment and clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Dodge Journey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 16.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value, space, and comfort, the 2015 is a sensible place to start, especially if you can find one priced near the lower end of the range. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep comparing nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
