Used 2014 Nissan Sentra for Sale nearRepentigny, QC

How much does the 2014 Nissan Sentra cost?

Prices have softened 16.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 87 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Nissan Sentra a good car?

Generally — with a 4.25/5 user rating, the 2014 Nissan Sentra looks like a sensible pick if you want a compact sedan that prioritizes practicality over flash. The overview points to a roomier interior than the outgoing model, plus a more fuel-efficient powertrain, so it fits well if you value everyday comfort and lower running costs. It also benefits from being lighter than the previous generation, which helps reinforce its easy-to-live-with character.

For used-car shoppers, that makes it a strong fit as a straightforward commuter or budget-friendly family car. 20.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Nissan Sentra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.25/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also suggests the 2014 Sentra’s reliability story is mixed: it has the benefit of a revised CVT, but you should pay close attention to transmission condition during a test drive. That means the car can make sense for used buyers, but only if you’re comfortable being selective and checking the drivetrain carefully.

For long-term ownership, the main risk is that a transmission issue could turn an otherwise economical purchase into a costly one.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Nissan Sentra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings and wait for the right example.

• Deal availability: 20.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 87 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.77% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $7,091 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Nissan Sentra's resale value?

The current average of $7,290 CAD sits slightly below last year's $8,759 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, that means your best protection is buying well in the first place and keeping the car in strong condition. A clean history and careful maintenance matter more when the market has already softened.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.25/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Nissan Sentra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 20.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.25/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a roomy, economical compact sedan and you find a well-kept 2014 at a strong price, this year makes sense as the primary choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also keep shopping for the best deal across nearby years, but the 2014 already offers a compelling mix of value and practicality.
