How much does the 2014 Nissan Murano cost?

Is the 2014 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Nissan Murano earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its reliability, comfort, and value for money, and many also highlight the smooth ride and good handling. That fits well if you want a comfortable, value-oriented midsize SUV with a sportier edge and everyday practicality. With 32.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2014 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to reliability, with drivers describing the Murano as dependable and a vehicle they can count on over the long term. That kind of sentiment matters for used buyers because it suggests the ownership experience has been steady rather than troublesome. For a used SUV, that lowers the risk of unpleasant surprises if the vehicle has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 75 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.25% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $9,401 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $9,401 CAD sits slightly below last year's $12,249 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Murano has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than owners saw a year ago. If you buy now, the lower entry price can help offset some depreciation risk. For resale, condition, mileage, and maintenance history will matter more when the market is already trending down.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2014 if you want a comfortable, well-liked midsize SUV at a lower price point and you value owner satisfaction over the newest redesign. If you’re especially price-sensitive, this year’s softer pricing makes it a sensible target; if you want to compare options, nearby model years may be worth a look, but the 2014 remains the better value play when you find a clean example.
