There are 66 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Kia Forte a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Kia Forte earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its reliability, fuel efficiency, and comfort, and many also like its spacious trunk and practical everyday usability. It is often recommended as a great first car, though some owners mention a lightweight feel that can bring more noise and a sense of fragility. With 19.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Kia Forte reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many drivers find reliable, dependable, and trouble-free over time. That kind of long-term confidence matters if you want a used car you can count on for daily driving. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is that some examples may feel less substantial than rivals, so a careful inspection and test drive are worth your time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Kia Forte?

It looks like a moderate buyer's market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 19.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 66 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $6,974 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Kia Forte's resale value?

The current average of $7,176 CAD sits slightly below last year's $8,083 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current trend implies you should focus on buying well and keeping the car in strong condition. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Kia Forte or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 19.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2014 is a sensible choice if you want a used Forte with solid owner satisfaction and a market that has already moved lower on price. If your priority is value, this year deserves a close look; if you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a similar car is available at a better listing price.
