Used 2014 Jeep Cherokee for Sale nearToronto, ON

How much does the 2014 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 15.45% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 156 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

The 2014 Jeep Cherokee is a mixed but appealing choice if you value comfort, style, and equipment over outright performance. Its user rating is 3.86/5, which lines up with the split owner feedback.

Owners commonly praise its comfort, stylish design, and good features, especially in higher trims. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a compact SUV with a more distinctive look and a well-equipped cabin for daily driving or all-weather use.

The model’s appeal is strongest if you want a crossover with a bit of Jeep character rather than a hard-core off-roader. With 19.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

The 2014 Jeep Cherokee stands out because it marked a dramatic shift for the nameplate, moving to a softer crossover body style while still keeping some genuine Jeep hardware. That combination gives you a vehicle with a clear identity, but also one that sits in a more complicated part of the brand’s history.

Owner feedback suggests it can be a reliable choice for shoppers who prioritise comfort and interior quality, and some owners describe it as dependable in that context. At the same time, there are reports of reliability concerns and issues with certain features, so you should pay close attention to service history and how the vehicle has been maintained.

For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is higher if the vehicle has unresolved transmission or maintenance issues, so a careful pre-purchase inspection is especially important.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Jeep Cherokee?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 19.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 156 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.45% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $9,370 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $9,371 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,083 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Cherokee easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your future resale position. For a future seller, the key is to avoid overpaying now, because the current trend shows the model has already lost value.

Should I buy a 2014 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 19.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.45% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the Cherokee’s distinctive styling, available Jeep hardware, and strong feature content at a lower entry price, the 2014 can make sense as your primary choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you should also compare nearby model years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the cheapest one.
