How much does the 2014 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 14.53% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 72 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Honda Accord earns a 4.94/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its reliability, fuel efficiency, smooth ride, safety features, and comfortable interior. For you, that means it fits well if you want a practical family sedan that still feels polished and easy to live with. With 27.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.94/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights reliability, and it also describes the Accord as dependable and trouble-free in everyday use. That kind of reputation matters if you want a used sedan you can count on for long-term ownership. For used buyers, the main risk is making sure the specific car has been maintained well, especially given the known concerns around the CVT and audio system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to be patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 72 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.53% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,161 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $12,289 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,378 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current trend means your return will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers looking for a practical sedan with a strong reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.94/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.94/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $13,867 CAD, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $12,289 CAD average.
• It adds a reputation for exceptionally well-engineered, dependable service.

The bottom line:
Buy the 2014 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully within a softer market. If you can stretch for the 2015, it may be the better pick for buyers who prioritise a newer-year alternative with a stronger long-term durability reputation.
