How much does the 2014 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 15.55% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 65 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers comparing used examples.

Is the 2014 Acura RDX a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Acura RDX earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfortable ride, impressive acceleration, and modern features, and many also highlight its value for money. In practical terms, that makes it a good fit if you want a premium compact SUV that leans toward comfort and everyday usability rather than sharp handling. With 35.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Acura RDX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to reliability as a strength, with owners describing it as dependable and a vehicle they can count on over the long term. For used buyers, that kind of owner confidence lowers the risk of unexpected ownership headaches, especially if the vehicle has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive listing.
• Inventory: There are 65 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.55% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,074 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $12,095 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,323 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the RDX more attractive to buyers today but less favourable for sellers trying to maximise return. If you buy at the current average, your future resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. Because the model has a solid reputation with owners, demand should remain reasonably steady if you keep it in good shape.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2014 if you want a comfortable, practical luxury crossover with strong owner approval and a softer price than it had a year ago. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby years as well, but the 2014 remains a sensible primary target when you want value and everyday usability in one package.
