A very purpose built car. Not designed as a grocery getter, it's designed to go fast and look good doing it. My particular example has unbelievable power thanks to a high performance 383 stroker under the hood. Accelerates in an instant. Handling is above average for a car of the time period. Brakes are sufficient. These cars do have some squeaks/rattles/interior noise, but its all part of the charm of a muscle car. Appearance is spot on for a late 70's sports/muscle car. Maintenance costs on a car of this age all have to do with how it was cared for the past 30 years. The gas mileage of a carbureted V8 definitely is no high point. But you get what you expect to get with this type of vehicle. As far as fun factor goes, I have yet to experience anything better. T- tops definitely add to the experience.

Best year camaro ever made. Suspension was great stock and still is. Performance suffered due to the oil crisis in the late 70s, but the motors respond very well to performance parts. I love mine, and I will never sell it.

What a car. I had a standard 350 with a 3 speed. What a lovely car. Try to find one now. Leather interior. 350 V8. What a car. Spares are easy to get too. RWD and felt like it had a huge amount of power.

I bought the car myself at 17 and its been great ever since, acceleration is decently quick with the 4 spd trans. The brake could use an upgrade, when moving at speeds around 65mph it feels like its not gonna stop. Funnest thing ive ever driven, even better than the 2012 camaro in my opinion.
