You'll have to run some numbers yourself. Average cost to charge a Bolt or EV per year is around $400 if you drive around the average 12K miles. Of course costs will go up over time. Cost are location dependent. Also what level charger are you planning on using at home vs a Super charger on the road. Will you have to have a charger installed by a professional? All costs should be considered.
I'm assuming this is a 110V household current hook up. Get a Kill O Watt meter from Amazon or similar website. Plug the meter in the wall outlet then the vehicle into the meter. The meter will tell you how many KW you used charging the vehicle. Then you can get the rate per KWH from your most recent electric bill. Hope that helps! Jim
My personal experience with my Tesla Model X is about average for California. At home, a hundred miles costs about three dollars. So if you average 10,000 miles per year, that's about $300 annually. But the charger cost nearly five grand to install..... I can't estimate the cost at charging stations as I charge often at Tesla Superchargers, which is free. But I'd estimate that, paying each time, public charging would run about $500 per 10,000 mile year. Your Bolt should fall within that.
Comes down to cost per kilowatt at your location. Check out Scotty Kilmer on you tube.
