Nissan Altima Problem

Asked by Lwood87 Jul 28, 2019 at 09:02 PM about the 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,

I have a 2006 Nissan Altima with 134k+ miles that's been doing fine until Friday.  At that point the battery and brake lights both came on at the same time, and the power steering stopped working.  Any suggestions on where to look?  Is there a blown fuse to look for, or could this be something more complicated?

FWIW, an OBDII reading showed a P0138 code (Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage)

Many thanks!

If your power steering is out too I would check for loose or broken belt. Or possibly failed tensioner.
