Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My cars temp gage keeps going
all the way up my fan kicks on
but I'm concerned as to why, I
have no leaks but I do notice
weather it be AC or heater when
using it I have to add water or
coolant to reservoir every 2
days...and I also hear like fluid in
my dash or somewhere when
turning on my car. What do I
need to fix or replace so my car
doesn't overheat and can you
refer me to a website where
maybe I can do it myself. Thank
you

If you hear fluid in the dash area you might have a heater core with a leak. Look for coolant by the bottom of the center console toward the bottom of the dash. Turn on heater, do you smell something sweet? That would be coolant. I would start there, the low coolant would cause car to overheat. So check the carpet for wetness.

You could have a bad head gasket and you are burning the antifreeze. Can the fuild in the radiator for oil and check for white smoke out of the tail pipe...
