2001 Nissan Altima Thermostat Housing

Asked by Guru9NG1TP Feb 15, 2022 at 05:42 PM about the 2001 Nissan Altima SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I’m trying to fix a 2001 Nissan Altima with a 2.4L KA24DE-A engine.  The
thermostat housing (11061-F4405) has sprung a leak.  It’s badly-corroded and
does not appear to be repairable.

While there are plenty of outlet tubes, the housing itself has apparently been
discontinued.  Is there a “workaround” or a part from another engine that can
be utilized?

Better try a wrecking yard. Maybe they can hotline one for you.
