the engine starts to cut out at high rpm after getting warmed up

i own a 1991 mazda b2600i 2.6 lit. 4x4,feul injected,5 spd standerd transmission.after getting warmed up the engine starts to cut out,i will be driving and suddenly ill atempt a take off i press gas pedal engine lacks more and more power almost dying so i shift into 2nd,third,then forth(slowly ofcourse)

I worked for a law firm as a courier , I had the same issue until I figured out the plug wires were heating up and causing engine problems . FYI
