Asked by cradtymomma7764 Jun 03, 2019 at 05:26 PM about the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta SEL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had after market ambient lighting installed.  The battery was
disconnected, and everything remained except the odometer reading. Or
maybe I just can’t find it.  Please help

whenever you dis your battery, make sure you put a memory saver on it ( plugs into your cig out). The last thing you need to do is lose all your memory in your fob. Then you need to reprogram it if has lost memory. DON'T go to dealer to do this. it's a rip off. Just get the memory saver and change your battery. I would definitely recommend a Deka 650 CCA battery for the summer and an 850 CCA for winter... because a battery has to work harder in the winter so you need more cold cranks ( CCA). good luck
