Changing alternator on 04 Kia optima,how do I loosen belt

4 cylinder has two belts

It should have a tensioner pully that you losein towards the belt to take it off .if no tensioner pully then should be an adjustment bolt beside the altinater or powersteering pump.that would losein the belt by bavking the bolt in the loseing direction .
