Leaking at the yoak and hogs head

Asked by GuruJ1VZ3 Aug 02, 2020 at 10:18 AM about the 1999 Ford Ranger XL Extended Cab Stepside 4WD SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had my rear end on my 1999 ford ranger and yoak
replaced and have brought it back 3 times due to it leaking
still why is it leaking it has a new seal put in twice. Didn't
leak before rearend was replaced

1 Answer

I am guessing you mean the input shaft seal is leaking. If the bearing is shot the shaft is going to flop around and leak.
