RPM needle not moving

My 1995 Honda Accord's RMP needle gauge has stopped moving, but there
does not seem to be any problems as of now. Should I get it checked?
Also my Brake light came on for the first time ever, but I just had new Brakes
put on only 6 months ago. I mean everything new, pads, rotors, the works.

Check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir. Regards
