You probably owe well over 10 grand on the car and it is worth what? Two hundred dollars?

I would let my insurance company settle on it rather than trying to trade it in. The insurance company should either fix it or give you what it was worth before the accident. Not too many dealers will want a pile of junk on their lot.

I am reminded of the line in Twister regarding the brand new Dodge pickup. Do you have insurance? Liability only! Famous Last Words!!!
