1999 ford explorer has no forward gears but has reverse and park

Check you transmission fluid level. If it's low fill it to the recommended level, then look for a leak. If the fluid is full and red like cherry Kool-aid then it's ok. If it's brown and smells burnt your transmission is probably toast.
