why does my 2003 ford explorer v6 have no heat when left out in fidget temp but has heat when left in a heated garage?
2003 ford explorer V6 when left out in frigid weather has no heat
thermostat open, but when left in heated garage has plenty of heat. New:
rebuilt radiator, thermo housing/stat, new water pump and fly wheel
assembly, door blend actuator, motor, dash heating/cooling control system,
new coolant. When left outside in fidget weather, thermostat open has no
heat. but when left in a heated garage has plenty of heat?Ran out of things
to replace. Hoses are not hot, engine temp is low. Ran out of things to
replace. Can you help?
It is possible the Bypass Heater Valve or Heater Control Valve would need to be changed out, some have a vacuum line running to it. It should be located in the heater hose.
THANK YOU I WILL INVESTIGATE FURTHER!! HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Happy New Year to you also.
