91k1500 5.7L Silverado brake lights won't activate

Asked by JJ_Diamond Apr 25, 2016 at 05:21 PM about the 1991 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Stepside RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have checked the fuses and all work, I
checked all the bulbs and they work also.
Next step was to possibly replace switch
by steering column. Or relay under hood.
All running lights work but turn signals only
work when hazard light switch is
on(hazards don't work).

Could be the brake relay, and the turn signal relay, also for the brakes may be the brake light switch on the brake pedal. May need some new flashers for the turn-signals.
