Fixing to go look at Hyundai Sonata 2002 over 200,000 miles

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is $1,000 fair enough

I know someone who purchased one a few years ago for $900.00 it ended up needing brake lines from master to all 4 corners about 2 months later as there were rusty and one blew out and lost braking, but was fixed and has not had any other issues, and are happy with it, the last owner was asking $1500 but came down. So Best offer them may get it cheaper. Oh year it a little over 150k miles. I do think a timing belt should be put in if it has not been done, 200k is on the high side, I would offer $700.
