some days my heat works and some days it doesn't. what can be causing this?

the other day my heater would not work yesterday it did and today nothing.

if the blower is not turning on you may have a melted blower speed switch switch is know to melt on speed 3 and 4 easy test push speed control stitch in and hold it and turn the blower on if turns on the switch is melted, if blower works and no heat check car radiator coolant level if full check thermostat, then all relays and fuses, if none of these fix problem check water pump..
