if the check engine light is solid, check for codes,if it is flashing, it is a misfire, it can still be a mis-fire (not bad enough for computer) due to using the WRONG FUEL designated for the vehicle. does it ever go away, or worse, hot or cold?, also check all mounts, engine and transmission. check them by havign someone else in the drivers seat car running, hood open you to the side of the car, in gear, foot on brake, accelerate, AGAIN CAR NOT MOVING, BRAKE HELD. see if the engine moves up or down, more than 2 inches or so, do the same for the bottom, and see if they move...let me know

Its not the motor mounts, I put the computer on it and gave a code of p301 which is a mis fire but the check engine light doesn't come on. And it only starts to shake when the engine is hot. I was thinking of getting the injection cleaning done and see if that will help.

no, 301 is a specific cylinder, check cylinder 1, swap coils, with any other cylinder, (i think it has a coil, if not wire), and have whoever rescan it, the P030-should change to which ever cylinder you switched it to, then you know it is the coil/wire, replace it and you are good.

when they get hot, the resistance changes and they are not firing correctly, it is common...

cylinder 1, is usually (looking at the motor from front of truck) left side, closest to you, if you have the ability, feel free to compression test it also, gm had a run of bad valves.....good luck
