Low coolant engine light

Asked by GuruPWHH9 Jan 16, 2020 at 02:48 PM about the 2014 Ford Escape SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought my 2014 Ford escape
brand new right before my 3-year
warranty was up I took it for an
oil change and they found a leak I
had to take it to the dealership
and they repaired it just recently
my engine light came on and the
coolant was down to minimum I
took it in and they said that there
was no leak they checked it
briefly and he engine light went
off after reading all these horrid
stories it looks like there is no fix I
paid almost $30,000 for this car
and it shouldn't have these many
issues. I don't think four is going
to do anything. But I do know
that there is someone out there
collecting information to file a
class action suit regarding either
a manufacturer defect or the way
the car is designed. the more
people they get posting their
complaints the more evidence
they have and they will be able to
face forward. My opinion I think
someone needs to contact Mike
Finney on your side who can
investigate this and go down to
the dealership and ask them
about how many people have had
problems with this car this car is
a lemon unfortunately it doesn't
fall under the lemon law act
because you have to take your
car back three or four times to
have it fixed I did have a recall on
the coolant system supposedly
it's fixed and here it is cold
weather coolant light comes on
cuz I'm using my heater same
issue it shouldn't be thrown at
the consumer who purchased the
car.
