My Ecoboost 3.5 in my 2013 has a very slight roughness to the idle. If it is running okay and you have no check engine lights it is probably just fine. Sometimes changing the sparkplugs will smooth it out. Plugs are an easy 1 hour or less job on these trucks. Mine has been trouble free in 45,000 miles.
