IS IT NORMAL FOR THE 4x4SHIFT STICK TO BE STIFF WHEN TRYING TO SHIFT ?

I FIND IT VERY HARD TO SHIFT INTO 4 WHEEL DRIVE AND BACK TO 2 WHEEL DRIVE IS THIS NORMAL ? THANKS MIKE

Hi Mike! Well, different feels mean different things to different people, but "stiff" perhaps, "very hard" not so much, at least not until the truck is much older. You have enough invested in this truck to let someone take a look at it. Take a cup of coffee to your Ford dealer's service bay early in the morning and bribe one of the guys to check it out. He'll give you a free evaluation and tell you if there's a concern. Good luck!
