My 2000 Dodge Durango it shuts off and after you let it sit
for 15 to 20 minutes it will turn back on and it will stay on
probably for about 10 minutes and I'll shut off again.

Hello Ricardo, we need a little more info on what happens when it dies, does it slowly start to chug then miss until it stalls out? if so that could be your fuel pump getting old and worn out, i have been through 4 now myself 266000 miles and still running, crank position sensor or cam position sensor causing sporadic readings as they heat up with the under hood temps which you can only really find with an oscilloscope. when it stalls does it still show mileage on the odometer? if not and instead shows NO BUS it could be one of the sensors shorting out the 5v ref line or one of the coil packs/fuel injectors shorting out the 12v supply line and bringing down the computer. Lastly are there any codes present? get it scanned and let us know.

I had the same issue. For me, it was the ECM/PCM. Apparently, they are known to go out on Dodge vehicles. I wasted a bunch of time and money replacing sensors and diagnostics and repair shops. Took it to the dealer and they were 90% sure it was the PCM. They wanted to charge over a thousand for parts and labor. I found a plug and play on eBay for $200 and installed myself in 10 minutes.
