2000 dodge Durango heater

Asked by AngelMoon08 Jan 07, 2017 at 06:56 PM about the 2000 Dodge Durango Sport 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000 Dodge Durango's heater will not blow out
of the floor vents or defrost vents only the vents
on the dash. You can turn the selection knob but it
doesn't do much. Also it is not blowing out of the
vent in the center console. And the air that comes
out is only lukewarm not hot

Sounds like it needs a HVAC Blend Door Actuator that is under the dash.

I had to change the gear in my Durango. It was the blend door Actuator like I originally thought. I noticed little black pieces of plastic in my floor board and realized after my heat and air won't blow on one side of my vehicle that it was the gear.
