I would wait until the battery goes bad. You can get a headstart on any potential issues by having it tested every oil change, or at least twice a year.

Don't allow your battery to go completely dead if possible, this may cause problems with your alternator and other electronics. Most batteries are rated at 3 years or more, getting a load test done every 3000-4000 miles will help to assess your batteries' condition and tell if any cells are weakened or dead, making sure your terminals are kept clean and free of corrosion will help prolong the life of your battery
