I have a 2003 Hyundai Sonata with 151,000 miles on it. I bought it with 97,000 and don't have the car history about the timing belt being changed.I need a good price for the repair.What's a fair price

If the belt breaks, it won't run at all and will likely need a new engine. Call the local Hyundai dealership's service department and they will be happy to give you a free estimate. Also if there are any good auto repair shops in your area, call them. Prices will likely vary for different geographic locations. I would get the belt replaced ASAP. Also if your water pump is driven by the timing belt (i think it is on this model) get it replaced as well along with the idler and tensioner. You will already be paying labor to get to these items so replacing them will just cost a few bucks more.
