does it feel like its going into gear at all? ...also is the check engine light on?.....the only thing is that it might be low on ATF or the shift cable broke or came off....with the engine off and the trany in neutral does the vehicle roll (have someone in it so it doesn't roll away on you )....

It is not going into gear at all. The check engine light is not on. The ATF oil is fine, the shift cable is attached on the outside, when I shift you can see the cable moving but not engaging.
