Changed alternator and battery. But battery lite comes on

I would start by checking the battery and alternator you put in first. Did the car have a problem before you swapped these items? Were they taken out and replaced with new or used parts? Were the new ones the correct electrical ratings? The lamp turns on to show you the system is not charging effectively so I would start by tracing your repair steps first. Good luck.
