2011 Chevy Traverse with Engine Light On

Asked by GuruK5B84 Dec 02, 2019 at 06:26 PM about the 2011 Chevrolet Traverse 1LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2011 Chevy Traverse.  I used my remote start this morning, and the
car started fine.  It only ran for 2 min, then shut off.  I tried to restart it, and it
wouldn't work, so I manually started it with the key.  Everything runs perfectly,
no issues.  However the check engine light is now on.  Any ideas?>

Visit your local auto parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Post the codes you get here and we can help further. Most stores will do the scan for free. Whenever the check engine light is on the remote start feature is disabled. Hope that helps! Jim
