2011 Sonata-dead spot in steering

Asked by jgrif2940 Apr 07, 2015 at 05:28 PM about the 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This is not the pulling issue.  Car has 127k miles and basically trouble free.  Starting at around 115k I noticed a dead spot in the steering when you are going straight, just feels numb.  It sticks there slightly and you have to nudge it to one side or the other.  Figure there is a rheostat or equivalent that is going out.  Anybody else ever have this issue?  thanks.
