Battery is new and charged. Lights do not dim when trying to crank. While key is in 'start' position only the engine light is lit. When released back to 'on' position the dash lights back up.

Will not turn over. I thought it might be a bad ground somewhere but everything I can see looks good. Also wanted to check fuses but can't get the top off the fuse box. The roadtrek people put in different seats and there is no room under the drives seat to get the top off. Anyway, it has 58000 miles and has never had the slightest problem starting. Was sitting for a few weeks, like it always does, and then nothing...

perhaps the alternator though? although unlikely at 58,000 miles, it could be a reason why it won't turn over.

New battery and properly charged. Lights bright and stay bright when trying to start it,

Due to some reading around I swapped the Crank and AC compressor relays. The van started and ran fine, also the AC worked fine as well!?! Would anyone feel like taking it cross country after this "fix"?
