How to turn off anti theft system off on my 2008 Chevy Express 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I  have a 2008 Chevy Express 1500. It ran just fine
when I parked it. It sat for about a year, the battery
went dead. I tried to start it the other day with a
new battery and now there is no Crank,no start. I
don't get power to the starter when key is turned to
crank. Also the dash light with a car with a lock
through it is on. If I put power to the solenoid wire
the van will crank but no start. I do that with the
key on. I hear the fuel pump running but no start...

I took one of the battery post off my battery post to save power, always kept the doors open, when I put the post back on, the horn went crazy and my van won't start, or crank 2000 Chevrolet Explorer SE EXPRESS 1500 VAN
