Asked by Grandt Feb 16, 2018 at 04:03 PM about the 2008 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

truck will start most of the time no problem.  About a month ago wouldnt turn
over so changed out to new battery.  Fired right up no problems.  been great for
about a month and then today same thing.  Wouldnt turn over.   All lights, radio,
everything came on, but not start.  I pushed it to the corner of my street and it
fired right up.  What could cause this?

Either bad battery cables, bad ground cable, bad starter or relay or the alternator is not charging.

I had the started and alternator tested and they both came back as good. I guess ill try checking the Ground Cable and the Battery Cables. Thank you

Good luck. Make sure the battery cables are in good shape. Corrosion can build up under the insulation at the connections.
