Is it normal to hear the engine make loud reving
noises while driving..it's like you can literally hear
the vroom coming from the engine inside the car
but people say they don't hear it on the outside

Should have the exhaust checked, may need to be repaired, rusted out, also it may be the catalytic converter which is part of the exhaust, have the exhaust system checked out.

It is not a problem until you CAN'T hear the engine running-

No need to have the exhaust checked.as it's the engine. I have a 2014 camry hybrid and when I step on the gas it sounds like a jet engine taking off. They put in a cheaper engine several years ago. Read he reviews and you will see there are MANY negative reviews regarding the noise. Otherwise I love my camry. However, I refuse to purchase another until they put another decent (QUIET) as in the 1999 models. I am doing shopping at Chevrolet presently.
