Whats the best way to take care of the convertible top?

this answer depends on your native environment, as a mold inhibiter would not be suitable for the desert, yet armor-all may not be good for some platics...my advise, don't use it, but either up or down, isn't going to be possible. Just use it normally and count on replacing the top after ten years.

number one mistake quite often is lowering when wet! also important is folding as it is lowering,to help a nice lay, no pun! sorry, then wash on occasion with brush and choise of soap.coat with a preserve type coat.your choise.

California Car Cover has two products worth trying - one is their RAGGTOP Fabric/Vinyl Cleaner, and the other is their RAGGTOP Fabric Top Protectant. Both products would be good to have for an annual maintenance procedure for your top. Clean it and let it dry thoroughly and the next day use the protectant. Follow the instructions, and don't let the top be stowed while wet.
