Make sure its in park. Wiggle shifter while trying to remove key.

I got a 2013 Impala LTZ. Almost 36k miles never a problem till to today. Key stuck, will start and turn off but not back enuff to turn off battery power or pull out key. Problem is shifter is in park but the trans did not fully engage to park. Give the car a good push while running in park. Itll go about two feet give or take and engage the gear. Turn car off and key comes right out.
