why is my 05 Explorer overheating after I changed the thermostat

Hi guys I have a 2005 Ford explore about a week
ago it started overheating so I changed out the
thermostat ending up there was a hole in the
thermostat housing so I change that as well and
now my vehicle is still overheating it runs for about
10 minutes and it starts off at cool and slowly
worked his way up to hot.. the ac blows cold the
second the car turns on. There’s no leaks the fan
works AC compressor is fine so I could really use
some help
